USERS FEEDBACK AND RESPONSE
Cool, thanks a lot. I know the cracked case
is no big deal nor does it hinder the function of the "TAT". I really do
appreciate you shipping the case out to me. I have no problem with what you
have proposed. I know all to well about dealing with UPS, FEDEX, SW Air
Cargo & Delta. I owned & operated a Saltwater Aquarium retail store. I just
recently, Novmber 30th of '06, shut it down & sold off must everything. Most
of the primo, rare, "BAD A _ _" corals some how ended up in my tank at home.
I had a chance to "test drive" the "TAT" ( that's short for the Therme )
Monday evening, nothing else was damaged. That is one amazing piece of
equipment. I cleaned a 1sqft area of massive Coralline Algae growth. I'm
talking months of build up on the front & sides of my 210 acrylic reef tank.
It's been months since I've had the time to properly maintain my 4 tanks & i
let my big Reef tank get a little out of hand as far as cleaning
the coralline algae. Just e-mail me an invoice for what I owe. Again I want
to say thanks.
Kong,
I received my Therme yesterday and used it tonight and it works. I have
a lot of coraline algea surrounding my viewing window and I'm wondering
how long can I hold the Therme on slowly moving it along to kill the
aglea before it can damage the unit or become dangerous?
Thanks,
JP
Hi JP,
I'm glad that, like many of the users of Therme, you have proved
that Therme really works and save you time and effort to kill and remove
tough coralline algae without scratching your tank.
To answer your question. As long as you are slowing moving the
Therme, there is no time limit that you can turn the unit on while it is
submersed in the water. As a matter of fact, this is the preferred
method to use Therme quickly terminate a big patch of coralline algae.
Thanks for your response and question.
Regards,
Kong

Kong, Got the package today. Didn’t even plug in the heater yet but the strength of the magnets with the scraper and nylon bag completely cleaned my acrylic. I didn’t need to use a scraper (with my hand in the tank) at all. I have tried many magnets and none compare to this. You might as well sell just the magnets with the scraper, in addition to the heated unit. This unit will save me literally hours of time. Thanks, Jon Hello Jonathan, We are glad that you also have proved that our product saves you a lot of time in removing your algae problems!! Our scraper/magnet is the smallest but yet very powerful device in handling green, brown algae. When you really have coralline algae problem, you will find out that our Terminator device is the only product on the market that allows you safely remove them with ease. Thanks again for your positive feedback! We need this type of confidence building comments that we are really helping the hobbyists. ___________________________________________________________________________
I'm really interested in this product. What all comes with
it and what do I need to purchase?
also, is it acrylic safe? My tank is 1 inch thick acrylic
thanks!

Hi Michael, Thanks for your interest in our product. Yes, our product is acrylic safe. As a matter of fact, it was designed to best work with acrylic surface. We have tried it on 1” acrylic tanks before. As far as terminating or killing the coralline algae, our product will work just fine, but if you want to scrape it off using our included magnetic coupled algae scraper, then it may take a longer time to lock the dead algae off because of the thickness. Our scraper is also acrylic safe and with the supplied nylon bag, it can handle your common brown and green algae efficiently too. KLBS Inc Kong,
I've been very pleased with your product. THanks again!
